More Masquerade is the follow up to No Prince Charming. From the
first book I fell into the story of Killian & Claire you can't
help it, with a powerful secretive character like Killian Stone the
book draws you in. I recommend that you read No Prince Charming first
to really understand these two characters and what they face
together.
With
the first book, there are secrets that are exposed of both Killian
and Claire. I was thinking that the second book might be smooth
sailing for this couple but I was so wrong.
No
More Masquerade is true to it's title, not only do Killian's past
that he's been hiding from the world come out, there is also a
bombshell that is dropped one I was completely shocked over, and
couldn't put the book down, I had to find out what was in the next
chapter.
There
are moments in this book that I wanted to throttle Killian, because
he falls of the deep end and your not sure if even Claire can pull
him out of it. Claire Montgomery is an amazing character, strong and
deeply in love with Killian. This book is an emotional ride but a
good one. It's full of passion, heartache, drama and written in a way
that keeps you on the edge.
