Wicked Rush, Book 2, Club Altura Series. What a great follow up, prepare yourself to be set on fire by Lars Elliott OMG!

Set in southern California, Lars is a live on the edge man, very dominating in all things work and personnel. He finds himself at the end of Carnal Risk, caught in a hail of gunfire rescuing a woman he doesn't know but seems to know him.

Dr. Braelynn Rollins is a marine biologist, her life takes a deadly turn and she ends up mixed up in a world of danger and no way to escape from it. When Lars and Braelynn's path cross it's a steamy ride. Lars wants to know the truth what is Brae hiding and he's determined to find out at any cost. When he discovers that friends whom he trust may be in on what Brae is hiding, and putting her life in danger he will do anything to keep her safe.

Lars isn't supposed to fall hard for a woman, it's not in his plans, there is something about Brae, he wants to draw her in to see what she is hiding and bring her into his world of fast living and pleasure. Brae has been attracted to Lars for some time and has desires that she's never been able to play out. Lars introduces Brae to his friend Seth and Club Altura ,which opens up a world she never knew existed. What an amazing book 7 in this series, Jax Chandler is the Alpha of the Agrestis Wolves. His character is very dominant, he's written so well that you can literally feel his dominance come off the page.

Jax is out for blood after being kidnapped and tortured, while escaping he rescues, Katrina Livingston. Kat is a daughter of an alpha her brother, Tristan is the current alpha of the Lyceum Wolves. There is a history between Kat and Jax, he's been drawn to her since the first night they met, but Kat spreads lies about Jax trying to keep him away from her. Kat has secrets and Jax wants answers.

Kat is on the run from demonic forces that are trying to steal her magic, the only person she can turn to for help is Jax, and he is determined to have her submit to him, give in to her desires.

This book is scorching HOT, like the others, it is filled with great dialogue between amazing characters. Every page reveals more of the mystery of what is happening to Kat, you can't put it down. Every book in this series gets better, if you've not read it you are truly missing out.

I stared at the ice cubes in my glass, all that was left of my first drink. I kept my eyes closed, though I knew I must look an odd spectacle. “Was that your second drink?” I nodded. “I expect you to answer me properly.” I squirmed in my seat. “Yes, Sir.” “Would you like another one?” “Yes, but you said I could only have two.” “Do you plan to be a good girl today?” “Yes, Sir.” “Since you followed my directions so well and this is something of a special occasion, you may have another one. What would you like?” “I’ll have a bourbon and water, please, Sir.” “That’s a mighty strong drink for a young lady.” I wasn’t that young, but I appreciated the chivalrous thought. “My grandmother taught me that if you drink bourbon and water it won’t sneak up on you the way sweeter drinks will. That way a lady can always take care of herself.” “Smart woman, your grandmother.” I listened as he ordered more drinks, my eyes closed the whole time, feeling ridiculous. Then I gave up and lowered my head, pretending to look at the ground. I’d spent my entire life being worried about what people thought of me. It was exhausting, trying to be perfect all the time. Part of me was dying to cheat, to open my eyes to see what this dynamic man actually looked like, while the other part was enjoying the game and wished it could go on forever. Because once I saw his face, nothing between us would ever be the same.
